An impressive and rare desk designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast Furniture - Denmark, 1955.
The Model 209 desk is a great example of Arne Vodder’s high end executive furniture, made by the renowned Sibast Furniture company in Denmark during their golden era of design.
It features some excellent craftsmanship, with the lipped top, solid teak drawers and a rich coloured solid teak and veneer.
The desk is often seen paired with the Model 209 sideboard, but was also sold separately.
Under our care we have stripped back and refinished the top and drawer fronts, with the rest of the desk being kept in great original condition. The only notable area of damage is a small 2cm x 2cm mark to the top, and unfortunately, the original key is not present. We have accounted for this in our pricing.
Dimensions:
L: 203cm
D: 90cm
H: 75cm
