Designed in the 1950s by Borge Mogensen for Soborg Mobler, this lovely teak and beech vanity unit features three deep drawers with solid teak handles, and a pull out vanity or desk unit housed within the top drawer. Hidden within the vanity is a mirror, and several small drawers. The desk surface is perfect for a dressing area, or a small work from home set up.
The construction of the piece is extremely high quality, as to be expected with Borge Mogensen and Soborg Mobler. All hardware is brass, and the entirety of the vanity is made of solid teak with an excellent hinging mechanism to open it up.
This piece is in excellent original condition, showing it’s age only by a few small marks. The mirror has oxidised slightly, with a haze visible across the top, however it doesn’t affect its purpose.
