Brazilian Rosewood dining table by Gunni Oman

£1,650.00
sold out

Designed by Gunni Oman, for Oman Jun Mobelfabrik during the 1960s, this extendable dining table exhibits a fiery Brazilian rosewood grain across the top, sides and legs. It’s a heavy and very well made piece thats obviously been well cared for as this is in original untouched condition.

The table extends with a sliding mechanism with a lock fitted to ensure a tight close. Additionally it has an optional drop down central leg for further stability.

We picked this table up from the grandson of the original owner, alongside the Kai Kristiansen Model 42 chairs in the photographs. He told us some fantastic stories about his Grandmother; She was heavily involved in the Danish art scene throughout the 1950s and 60s, and was also a friend of Verner Panton. He had inherited her vast collection of Panton lighting and a fantastic modular wire frame sofa.
