A beautiful and rare Arne Jacobsen Series 7 swivel desk chair.
This example is very early and simply beautiful.
We purchased this from the son of the original owner, when it was given to him the original foam under the leather was completely perished (A common issue with classic AJ designs). He wanted to keep the beautifully worn leather, so amazingly an upholsterer was able to remove the original upholstery, replace the foam and reupholster the chair, keeping all of the beautiful patina whilst saving the chairs usability.
The chair is height adjustable, swivels freely and the wheels roll smoothly. The chair is supportive, comfortable and the vintage leather is incredibly soft.
New in this specification these chairs retail for £1700
