Erik Knudsen Model 48 Armchair for Jensen & Lykkegaard

£595.00

A beautiful, quintessentially Scandinavian and very rare armchair designed by Erik Knudsen for Jensen and Lykkegaard in the mid 1950s.

The chair is constructed out of solid teak, with a cane woven backrest and upholstered seat pad.

The chair is in great original condition, the frame shows only marginal wear, the upholstery is in excellent condition and a great match for the chair. Under our care we have tidied up the cane work as some strands were coming loose. To maintain originality and the beautiful patina, we have used some subtle staples tom secure the loose strands in place. It is very sturdy and highly unlikely to worsen.

We can assist with upholstery at the buyers request
