Hans Wegner GE-259 Daybed
A rare and incredibly functional daybed designed by Hans Wegner for Getama in 1955. The sofa is constructed with oak, as is the daybeds hinging mechanism which can be easily operated by one person, turning this comfortable three seater sofa into a bed.
Under our care we have refinished the frame, and had the sofa reupholstered in Kvadrat Sisu, a beautiful green and white check fabric designed by Nanna Ditzel.
