This free-standing, large desk by Kai Kristiansen is made of high-quality Brazilian hardwood. Designed by Feldballe Møbelfabrik it was called Model 70.
It is one of Kai Kristiansens best designs, the drawers float from the sled legs, suspended from the desk above. The drawer fronts are made from solid Rosewood with carved, tactile handles and each with a locking mechanism. To the back are two doors with more storage within.
We purchased this piece in Denmark from the original owner who’d cared for it excellently. Under our ownership we have refinished the top and cleaned the rest of the piece.
