A rare variation of the Portex chairs designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Fritz Hansen in the 1945, Denmark.
The sculptural frame is carved solid beech, the back rest is formed beech ply, as is the seat base. The chairs exhibit a great grain pattern, and the original finish is in fantastic condition.
The chairs are extremely comfortable, stackable and very light weight.
Under our care the chairs have been thoroughly cleaned and undergone a basic restoration to ensure all of the joinery is in good condition, and ready for another lifetime of use.
