A rare and well designed side table by Robin Day as part of the Forum series, re-released by Habitat in the 1980s
The table features a porcelain ashtray and a small solid ash top, sat on elegant powder coated steel legs.
When this arrived with us the ashtray was cracked, we separated it and re-glued it with a very strong epoxy, and then repainted it in a gloss black. The ash surface has also been refinished and lacquered to avoid stains from cups and general wear.
Due to the repair, we have discounted this piece accordingly, that being said it has been repaired very well.
