A true Danish design icon, the Penguin Easy Chair by Svend Aage Eriksen.
Designed in 1955 and produced by France & Son, the Penguin chair is upholstered around a tubular steel frame, with solid teak arms poking through. It sits on four simple conical solid teak legs.
Under our care the chair has received a full restoration, it’s been stripped down, all fillings replaced, the wood restored and then reupholstered in the correct colour scheme and fabric, Kvadrat Divina Melange Wool.
